LIFE BELOW WATER

Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

The oceans cover more than 70 per cent of the surface of our planet and play a key role in supporting life on earth. They are the most diverse and important ecosystem, contributing to global and regional elemental cycling, and regulating the climate.

LIFE ON LAND

Terrestrial ecosystems provide a series of goods, raw materials for construction and energy, food and a series of ecosystem services including the capture of carbon, maintenance of soil quality, provision of habitat for biodiversity, maintenance of water quality, as well as regulation of water flow and erosion control.

Projects

Bio Farm

Bio Farm Pesticide

For us to achieve the ecosystem restoration, there is need to use more ecofriendly farm inputs. Biofarm project aims at formulation of an organic pesticide(Biopesticide) that will help us reduce the amount of toxic chemicals in the environment.

Reforest our ocean initiative

Marine ecosystem

Mangroves are the lifeline of the Marine ecosystem, we are determined to restore marine ecosystem by increasing mangrove forest cover to enhance healthy coastal zones.

Green Communities initiative

Reforestation

As we are working towards achieving a healthier environment, planting more trees and increasing forest cover is a necessity to a natural and healthy environment. The main goal of this project is restoration and conservation of the natural environment.

Food Security

Toximeter

In the Toximeter project our aim is to establish the confidence in the level of safety(chemical free) in consumption of fresh farm products by putting up a gadget to help in measuring the toxicity(presence of toxicants) level in the farm products

Agri-tech

Automatic digital sprayer

The project aims at elevating green house and screen house farming methods in technological aspect where the green houses and screen houses will be fitted with a technology system that can automatically detect the presence of pest by motion sensing capabilities.

Organic Products

Moringa soap

We advocate for massive production of organicproducts so as to reduce the intensity of chemical application and chemical residual accumulation in our environment. By doing so we are working on production of organic products that have no chemical residues that will bring about environmental disruption
